We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our clients Adult Social Care Team as an Occupational Therapist for a 3 month initial contract, with potential for extension.

Responsibilities:

  • Prioritise and manage a caseload, conducting holistic assessments to meet the needs of individuals, considering all daily living tasks, social, environmental, and psychological needs.
  • Undertake adult safeguarding investigations, complete required reports, and participate in strategy meetings, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Assess for and provide assistive technology, equipment, and adaptations to meet needs, reduce risk, and review their safe and effective use.
  • Identify services and community resources to support and maintain independence, including reablement services and personal budgets.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least Diploma/BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent and have HCPC registration.
  • Best Interest Assessor (or commitment to train as one)
