We are seeking a dedicated Multi Skilled Furnace Engineer to support our client based in Rotherham. The position will look after the plants Heat Treatment and Vacuum Furnace equipment.

Description
As the Multi Skilled Furnace Engineer your role will consist of;
- Overseeing furnace operations to ensure optimal performance
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on furnace systems
- Collaborate with the Engineering & Manufacturing department on technical issues
- Implement safety protocols and procedures
- Troubleshoot furnace systems and equipment
- Assist in the training of staff on furnace operations and safety
- Keep detailed records of furnace operations, maintenance, and repairs
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in furnace technologies
Profile
A successful Multi Skilled Furnace Engineer should have:
- A robust understanding of furnace operations and maintenance
- A HNC/HND or NVQ in an Engineering field
- Excellent technical ability
- A commitment to safety and adherence to protocols
- Strong record-keeping abilities
- An eagerness to learn and stay up-to-date on industry trends
