We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Rowley Regis, Birmingham. This is a full-time position starting immediately. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing 1:1 support to students, including some with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring that each child receives the tailored support they need to thrive. You will also assist with general classroom activities, helping create a positive and engaging learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1:1 Support: Provide focused assistance to students, including those with SEN, to help them progress academically and socially.
- General Classroom Assistance: Support the teacher with classroom activities, ensuring students are engaged and making progress.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers and other staff to deliver the best outcomes for students.
- Adaptability: Be proactive and adaptable to meet the varying needs of individual pupils.
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
- Curriculum Knowledge
- Patient, proactive, and committed to helping students reach their potential.
- Based in or around Rowley Regis, and available to work full-time until at least May half term.
