Job Title: SEN Teachers and Teaching Assistants Wanted

About the Role:

We are seeking passionate and dedicated SEN Teachers and Teaching Assistants to join our team. The roles are intended for individuals who are eager to support students with a wide range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SEN Teachers:

    • Develop and deliver lessons tailored to the specific needs of students.
    • Collaborate with support staff and families to create personalized learning plans.
    • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
    • Foster an inclusive, supportive, and positive classroom environment.
  • SEN Teaching Assistants:

    • Support SEN teachers in the delivery of lessons, working one-on-one or in small groups.
    • Provide emotional and behavioral support to students to help them succeed in their learning.
    • Assist with the adaptation of lessons to ensure accessibility for all students.
    • Help students with social and emotional development.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in working with children with SEN (preferred but not essential for Teaching Assistants).
  • For SEN Teachers: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent and relevant subject expertise.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with diverse needs.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting students' individual learning needs.
