Long Term Futures is seeking a patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Rowley Regis. This rewarding role involves supporting KS1 students with additional needs, including ASD and ADHD, both inside and outside the classroom. You will help lower-ability students access the curriculum and develop key learning skills.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support for KS1 pupils with SEN.
- Adapt learning activities to meet the needs of children with ASD and ADHD.
- Assist with classroom engagement, promoting focus and participation.
- Implement strategies to support behaviour management and emotional regulation.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learning plans.

- Previous experience working with SEN children, particularly those with ASD and ADHD, in school settings.
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting young learners.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
