Technical Sales  (Manufacturing Equipment)

Salary circa £47.5 with achievement of your financial target increasing your earnings to £60k + company car + expenses. (Please note the bonus is uncapped). Office hours with the opportunity to work from home or from our UK operation in Leamington Spa

You will be located centrally in the UK or North West, you will have full autonomy on the business you target within the manufacturing and engineering sectors.

The role covers both account management and new sales as well as handling all incoming tenders. You will require an engineering or technical sales background ideally within the supply of capital equipment, industrial machinery or providing components to the Manufacturing or Engineering industry.

You will be working for a market leading company that employee 700 people across the world. We manufacturer machinery and equipment, in-house software and consumables. We are at the very pinnacle of design, quality and functionality. We require a sales person that can sell the technical advantages of this machinery rather than conceding on price.

Technical Sales  (Manufacturing Equipment) responsibilities:

  • Sales of machinery used in manufacturing processes and production line systems as well as our consumables in UK
  • Creating a sales pipeline, need analysis, solution definition and presentation
  • Machinery demonstration including software and functionality.
  • Sales negotiation (price, payment terms, delivery...)
  • Independent support and sustainable expansion of your area
  • Key account development, expansion and support of existing customers as well as acquisition of new customers
  • Generation, support, follow-up and closing of own sales opportunities and leads
  • Development and expansion of the project portfolio
  • Sales meetings and negotiations within a given scope of action
  • Own appointment and travel planning (dynamic, efficient and with vision)
  • Working with the CRM tool: including reporting, gaining sustainable customer information
  • Reporting to the sales management

Technical Sales (Manufacturing Equipment) profile:

  • You will require several years of professional experience in sales into Engineering and manufacturing including machinery or capital equipment.
  • You are result driven, professional sales person, confident in negotiating a high end product and closing deals in technical environments.
  • You can operate with autonomy and using your own initiative.
  • You have an affinity for industrial automatism and production applications
  • You have knowledge of the UK industrial, engineering and manufacturing market and key customers.
  • You see working with a CRM tool as a benefit, not a burden
