The One Group are pleased to be working with a leading tier 1 and OEM supplier of Aerospace components who are seeking a Junior Manufacturing Engineer to join an established team to manage the introduction of new projects into the company.The business is an established manufacturing company who supply world class components to high value customers, you will have the opportunity to implement and define processes as well being responsible for non-conforming products to support the development of the business.The day-to-day duties include:

  • ensuring all manufacturing documentation (route cards, BOMs, work instructions) are created and maintained, ensuring all applicable customer requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, ensuring that they are clearly defined and controlled effectively.
  • Support CI (Continuous Improvement) activities, whilst maintaining a zero-harm culture.
  • Maintain good working relationships with suppliers/customers, both written and verbally.

What we are looking for:

  • Degree, HND, HNC qualified.
  • Able to interpret and apply engineering, quality and H&S standards and specifications.
  • Strong understanding Engineering drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & tolerancing).
  • Min. of 1 years' experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role, preferably in an Aerospace environment.
