Rate: 19/hour (PAYE)

Duration: 6 months minimum

Hours: 37.5 per week (7.5 Mon - Fri)







Overview:

We are seeking a Payroll & Benefits Partner to join our Payroll team in Royston. This is a 6-month contract with the potential for extension after that

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll, managing time management tasks, and providing support for payroll and time management queries.







Responsibilities:

  • Manage holiday absence and respond to relevant enquiries
  • Handle day-to-day payroll queries from employees including Tax code queries, SSP, SMP, SPP etc
  • Administer payroll changes into HRX for Payroll Bureau processing
  • Assist with benefit scheme administration
  • Create and calculate SMP and SHPP schedules
  • Collaborate with the HR Service team for monthly payroll changes
  • Responsible for all payroll processes during team members' absence
  • Understand manual Payroll TAX and NI calculations


Qualifications:

  • Good level of education in relevant field
  • Experience in processing payroll within small to medium size organisations
  • Detailed knowledge in employer and employee taxes and social securities
  • Proficiency in using IT systems and general IT user skills
  • Adaptable, with strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
