Join a highly respected accountancy practice as a Payroll Administrator. This part-time role is perfect for individuals with a strong background in payroll operations and client management.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Process client payrolls and BACS payments efficiently.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, resolving queries and liaising on payroll and employment matters.
  • Ensure compliance with current payroll legislation and conduct regular compliance checks.
  • Manage payroll elements such as starters, leavers, holiday pay, and pension deductions.
  • Liaise with HMRC for tax calculations, NIC contributions, and other necessary communications.
  • Handle auto enrolment, maintain pension scheme records, and manage RTI submissions and CIS returns.
  • Maintain accurate and concise records and ensure timely recording on timesheets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing within an accountancy practice.
  • Proficiency in Sage Payroll and Xero Payroll.
  • CIPP qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong mathematical and IT skills, including intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent attention to detail with high levels of accuracy for data entry.
  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines, work independently, and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented approach.
Benefits:
  • The role will be offering a part time 25 hour working week. Full time will also be considered.
