About the Role
Are you passionate about driving positive change and improving manufacturing processes? Our client, a leading manufacturer based in Royston, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Hot Form & Chemical Processing Operator to join their team.
This full time, permanent role involves operating hydraulic presses/furnaces at high temperatures, plasma cutting and using various air tools. Fork-lift training and overhead gantry crane training will also be provided.
This position will require you to have the ability to read and interpret technical documentation, visual aids, and data sheets and hydraulic press experience and experience working with exotic metals would be an advantage.

What you’ll be doing
- Accurate interpretation and completion of production route cards
- Use hot forming techniques to press components made of exotic metals
- Manufacture components using various manufacturing processes including hot draw forming and hot die quenching in accordance with customer specifications and Quality procedures
- Application of pre-treatment (spraying), plasma cutting and tooling maintenance
- Pyrometry testing for which full training will be provide
- Achieve company work & quality standards in addition to delivery targets
