Opus People Solutions are seeking a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist for an exciting opportunity based in Royston.

As a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you'll play a vital role in supporting students aged 6-19 with moderate to severe learning difficulties, autism, and complex medical needs. You'll also work with young adults aged 18-30, empowering them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized communication and dysphagia support.
  • Conduct assessments and develop therapy programs tailored to each individual's needs.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Train others to deliver consistent, high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • A Speech and Language Therapy degree (graduate or master's level).
  • Registered membership with RCSLT and HCPC.
  • Post-graduate dysphagia training with competencies in Eating, Drinking, and Swallowing.
  • Experience supporting children and young people with SEND, PMLD, and ASD.
  • A naturally caring and empathetic nature.
