Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with a strong commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently seeking a qualified teacher with experience with SEN, for a PPA role every Friday. A passion for SEN is essential, with previous experience teaching children with SEN desirable.

We are currently working with a Primary School within the Forest of Dean who have a specialist centre on site that provides additional support to pupils with autism and other educational needs. They are looking for someone to work 1 day per week (Friday) to provide PPA support within their specialist centre, tailor learning based upon the goals on their EHCPs. The needs of the individuals are extremely varied, therefore their goals and targets will be different too. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

Key Responsibilities: - Deliver and assess lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with a range of SEN based upon their individual on their EHCPs. - Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff, to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting effective communication and partnership. - Utilise a variety of strategies and resources to engage and inspire, promoting a love for learning. Qualifications and Experience: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant SEN experience. - Knowledge of various learning difficulties and disabilities. - Familiarity with the latest SEN legislation and best practices. - Strong organisational and communication skills. - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. - Commitment to professional development and staying current with educational trends.
