This company are at the forefront of innovation in their sector and have exciting growth plans in the pipeline. We are seeking a dedicated Management Accountant to join the finance team. You will play a pivotal role in preparing management accounts, supporting decision-making, and ensuring compliance with tax and government regulations.This role comes with an annual salary of up to £43,000.00 dependant on experience.Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely Management Accounts, financial reports, and analyses, including inter-company balancing, journal preparation, and calculations.
  • Complete Group Reporting packs to the highest standard.
  • Manage the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory filings.
  • Produce Cost Centre Reports, investigate variances, and support audit preparation.
  • Monitor and forecast cash flow, ensuring funds meet business needs and comply with Group Treasury directives.
  • Provide insightful reports to support management and business partner decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Finance to ensure smooth financial operations.

Candidate Experience, Skills and Attributes:

  • Proven experience in month-end processes and management accounts preparation, or a background in audit practice.
  • Studying towards completion of ACCA, CIMA or QBE.
  • Strong MS Office skills; SAP experience is desirable.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and enthusiasm.
  • Professional and approachable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
