An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Purchase Ledger to join our Accounting & Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our financial records, including purchases, receipts, and payments.

Description

  • Processing and record credit notes, invoices and employee expenses
  • Reconciliation - supplier statements
  • Resolve discrepancies and any disputes
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers
  • Assist in month-end closing activities, including ledger reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date purchase ledger records
  • Work well with the finance team to ensure adherence to financial procedures and compliance

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger should have:

  • A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and purchase ledger
  • Proven ability to post invoices
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Work well within a team
