Description
- Processing and record credit notes, invoices and employee expenses
- Reconciliation - supplier statements
- Resolve discrepancies and any disputes
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including ledger reconciliations
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date purchase ledger records
- Work well with the finance team to ensure adherence to financial procedures and compliance
Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger should have:
- A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and purchase ledger
- Proven ability to post invoices
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Work well within a team
