- Manage rent accounts within an assigned area, ensuring consistent and professional communication with tenants.
- Conduct outreach to discuss rent payments, arrears, and arrange manageable payment plans.
- Provide support to tenants facing financial challenges, connecting them with relevant welfare and support services as needed.
- Collaborate with tenancy support and welfare teams to sustain tenancies and reduce arrears.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records to support the council’s income collection goals.
- Proven experience in income collection, housing management, or a related field.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a team.
- Experience working with vulnerable individuals and providing support in challenging situations.
