1-1 Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? Aspire People is seeking a dedicated 1-1 Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Rugby. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a supportive environment and is committed to making a difference in the lives of young learners.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1-1 support to a child in Key Stage 1 (KS1), tailoring your approach to meet their individual needs.Collaborate closely with the SENCo, parents, and other staff members to create a supportive learning environment.Adapt teaching methods to cater to the child's unique learning style and SEN requirements.Build strong, positive relationships with the child, encouraging their social and emotional development.Requirements:Previous experience as a 1-1 Teaching Assistant, preferably with SEN experience.Strong understanding that every child is different, with the ability to adapt and employ various teaching approaches.Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with the child, SENCo, parents, and staff.A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to supporting children with diverse needs.What We Offer:Holiday pay.Joining bonus.A supportive and inclusive school environment.The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a child's educational journey.Competitive daily rate based on experience.Application Process:Interviews will be conducted next week.
