Actio Recruitment is supporting our manufacturing client in Rugby with their search for an Electronics Test Engineer to join their team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, testing, and fault-finding of PCB assemblies and electrical panels, ensuring they meet required specifications. You will also work on rework and repair, building test rigs, and evaluating electronic designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspection & testing of PCB assemblies and electrical panels
  • Fault-finding and rework of electronic circuits and assemblies
  • Recording test results using office tools such as Excel and Word
  • Building test rigs to support testing and design evaluation
  • Reading & understanding schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Testing & troubleshooting using electrical instruments (e.g., voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter)
  • Knowledge of 3-phase electrics and electromechanical processes
