Job Role: Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Lutterworth
Shift: Monday - Friday (8:30am-5pm)Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 per annum

Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities:
- Travel to client locations both within the UK and internationally to conduct surveys, installations, and commissioning tasks.
- Collect necessary data to design tailored engineering solutions.
- Create and update electrical schematics using AutoCAD, ensuring proper revision control and documentation.
- Generate and specify Bill of Materials (BOM) to facilitate the creation of purchase orders.
- Assist with testing and troubleshooting control panels.
- Gather relevant details to help compile installation manuals for clients.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and engineers to ensure systems and equipment meet project specifications.
- Oversee contractors on-site, acting as the primary contact during installations.
- Comply with health, safety, and quality management procedures and policies.
The Candidate:
- Possess relevant qualifications in Engineering.
- Proficient in using AutoCAD software.
- Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, suppliers, and customers.
- Organisational abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Adaptable to changes in scheduling requirements.
- Committed to delivering high-quality work and ensuring projects meet satisfactory standards.
- PLC and HMI awareness.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
- Effective problem-solving capabilities.
- Competent in using basic Microsoft Office applications.
