  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy, ensuring clear insight into risks and opportunities.
  • Provide data-driven financial advice to senior leaders, supporting informed decision-making.
  • Strengthen financial literacy and accountability across teams.
  • Oversee procurement strategy, ensuring value for money, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Drive cost efficiencies through contract negotiations and policy development.
  • Manage and develop a small finance team, fostering strong collaboration.
Compliance & GovernanceAll staff must uphold responsibilities in Health & Safety, Safeguarding, Data Protection, EDI, and Quality. Any concerns should be reported appropriately. Person SpecificationEssential:
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 8 years’ post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, business partnering, and procurement.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to challenge and influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Desirable:
  • Experience within the charity, public, or not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with Power BI.
