Timeplan Education has opened their East Midlands office and we are currently recruiting for an experienced SEND Teacher to support a school in Rugby, which requires a Primary level Teacher.

The experienced Teacher will require:

  • Have an understanding of how SEND environments work
  • Understand how to work from ECH plans and deliver lessons accordingly
  • To deliver engaging lessons to the children in KS2
  • Provide support to children during classroom activities, ensuring they are engaged and participating fully
  • Work closely with the classroom TA/support
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive learning environment
  • Report writing and dealing with outside agencies
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Assist in assessing children's progress and reporting any concerns

Skills

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children and adults alike
  • Experience working within education, QTS is desired
  • Ability to educate and inspire young learners through creative teaching methods
  • Familiarity with special education practices and strategies for working with children who have diverse learning needs within mainstream and SEND environments
  • Previous experience working with children in various settings is advantageous
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed in their educational journey.
