• Successful logistics and warehouse organisation
• You will be responsible for Integration, migration, automation, and modifications of all IT systems
• They have an outsourced IT company which looks after laptops, hardware, phones, email addresses etc. They are good and handle that side of things so this is NOT IT support troubleshooting on the hardware side.
• So this role is more about the systems.
• You will work really closely with operations to look at the warehouse management system (WMS), the traffic planning software (TMS) and a bit on the HR system/CRM
• So someone who can look at how to improve IT systems and work across a business.
• You will then also deal with customers. Their IT systems need to at times integrate into the companies systems (using APIs)
• You might look at a particular area (say the WMS) and do a GAP Analysis and look at what it can / cant do and what the business needs.
• This job would be really good for your career. You can mould it and really make it your own
