The Warehouse Coordinator will be a crucial part of the logistics team, ensuring efficient and effective operations within their new site in Rugby based transport & distribution centre. The role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of coordinating and overseeing warehouse activities.
Description
The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for the below
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities
- Implement operational policies and procedures
- Ensure efficient use of warehouse space
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
- Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, and delivery times
- Prepare and present reports on warehouse efficiency
Profile
A successful Warehouse Coordinator should have:
- Strong knowledge of warehouse data systems
- Excellent coordination skills
- The ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
- An understanding of health and safety regulations
- Experience in driving few forklift trucks such as counterbalance and PPT
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 12nn - 8pm
