Warehouse Team Leader 6-2, 2-10 Shifts - MONDAY - FRIDAY - 37.5hr wk

£29.6k + Excellent Benefits + Over Time+ Performance Bonus

Our client is an international supplier of non-food fmcg items to a host of well know retail chains across the UK. They run a 40k sq ft, fast moving NDC in Rugby which supplies retailers RDCs across the UK via 3PL transport services. Due to increased volumes they now need a proven warehouse team leader.

SUMMARY:

The receipt, storage & issue of materials in accordance with company procedures and maintaining accurate records of each transaction

Accurately and timely picking, packaging and despatch of stock to customers in accordance with customer specifications

Ensuring the storage of stock in a manner that will avoid damage /deterioration

Compliance with all company health, safety and environmental policies

Ensuring that all FLT operations are in accordance with correct operator training and health and safety requirements

Documentation being completed in accordance with procedures

Communicating with the Warehouse Management on any Warehouse related issues

Keeping work areas tidy

Co coordinating the efforts of the Warehouse operators

Leading, motivating and encouraging staff to involve themselves in projects

Completion of shift activity sheet and other daily documentation deemed necessary

Liaising with Warehouse Manager regarding employee holidays/absence

Training Warehouse Operators to the standards required and completing relevant documentation

The Capacity to adjust to short term change, quickly and calmly, so you can deal with unexpected problems or tasks effectively

EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

Proven Warehouse Team Leader experience in a fast moving operation

To be able to work as part of a team.

Computer literate.

Used to working to deadlines.

Able to communicate effectively.

Pro active, hands on approach to problem solving.

Gathering and managing information.

Developing people and building of high performance teams.

Ability to prioritise workload
