The Role:

Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Managerto join a well-established, growing company. This pivotal role will oversee the daily production demands, across a broadly bespoke product offering.This position is based on site, 5 days per week, inRugby.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Production & Manufacturing: Act as the UK lead for all Production / Manufacturing activates across both existing and new customers with varied, bespoke requirements.
  • Demand Planning & Forecasting: Develop accurate and timely demand forecasts by analysing market trends, historical data, and inventory levels, ensuring our manufacturing facility can meet client demands efficiently.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee and optimise raw material inventory levels on-site, ensuring a smooth manufacturing flow.
  • Supplier Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Query Resolution:Act as the first point of contact for product quotations, queries, quality issues - demonstrating an exceptional level of service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Continuous Improvement:Proactively identify areas for improvement within the end to end manufacturing / supply chain process, suggesting and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Administration: To liaise with the Manufacturing and internal Supply Chain & Operations Teams along with at time, key suppliers.


Candidate Experience:

  • Proven experience in a Manufacturing or Production environment for a minimum of 5+ years Essential.
  • Knowledge of the Wood / Plastic / Packaging / Metal / Steel or Industrial sectors Essential.
  • Great people management skills, having overseen teams of 10+ employees previously Essential.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work within complex projects & datasets Advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and organisational negotiation skills Essential.
  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field -Desirable, but not essential.

  • Commuting Distance: Able to travel to site, 5 x days per week, in Rugby.
