Calibre Search are working with a highly ambitious Consultancy who are actively looking to bring in an experienced Quantity Surveyor to mostly specialise in Fund Monitoring.

Based out in Rugby, You will be working closely with the Directors offering a range of pre and post contract QS services as well being able to assist in fund monitoring ensuring adherence to budgets and providing accurate and timely financial reports.

The Practice themselves are always looking to develop into new sectors but currently they have a huge demand working with various investors and developers on large scale new build industrials schemes which you will be leading on across the Midlands.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and monitoring of construction projects to ensure adherence to budgets, cash flow projections, and fund management requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to review contracts, progress reports, and cost data, identifying any discrepancies or potential risks.
  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive financial reports, including cost estimates, variance analysis, and cash flow projections, for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and control project expenditure, tracking costs against budget and recommending corrective actions as necessary.
  • Evaluate change orders and claims, analyzing their financial impact on the project and providing recommendations.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess progress, validate costs, and ensure compliance with contract specifications.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to resolve financial issues and provide expert advice on cost control and fund management.
