We strive to create a nurturing and supportive environment where every student can achieve their full potential.Job Description:We are looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team on a supply basis, with the potential for long-term positions for the right candidates. The successful applicants will work closely with our students, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs. This role involves working with students who have a variety of additional needs, including learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and emotional and behavioural difficulties.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting adults or children with SEN needs is essential.
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or special needs support are desirable but not essential.
