Spinwell is recruiting for an Income Officer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INCOME OFFICER

Manage rent accounts within an assigned area, ensuring consistent and professional communication with tenants.

Conduct outreach to discuss rent payments, arrears, and arrange manageable payment plans.

Provide support to tenants facing financial challenges, connecting them with relevant welfare and support services as needed.

Collaborate with tenancy support and welfare teams to sustain tenancies and reduce arrears.

Prepare reports and maintain accurate records to support the councils income collection goals.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE INCOME OFFICER

Proven experience in income collection, housing management, or a related field.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently and effectively within a team.

Experience working with vulnerable individuals and providing support in challenging situations
