The Service Engineer will work in the client'sorganisation, a market leader in collision repair equipment with the main purpose of driving the Service needs, installations and support of the client'sequipment. The successful applicantwill visit customers locations and carry out servicing and calibration checks to the client'sTotal Bodyshop Solutions in Joining, Measuring, Straightening and other manufacturers collision repair equipment keeping in premium condition to deliver on Customer Satisfaction, expectations, requirements and always looking for future/new business opportunities (servicing and sales).

The successful candidatewill be working closely with the Aftermarket Manager, Service Engineers and Technical Sales Representatives, operating as a commercial crew in a constant journey of customer satisfaction. Furthermore, theywill work closely with the Internal Support organisation to secure a premium service experience for the customer, providing service and spare parts from the installation all the way through to the aftercare support for all current and potential customers to maintain a high level of customer service.

Main Responsibilities

  • Execute and Develop the client'sService/Sales needs and opportunities in the UK Market
  • Execute product and solution demonstrations in cooperation with the Technical Sales Representative
  • Execute installations of equipment and start-up training to deliver customer satisfaction
  • Execute Service, Warranty and Calibration activities according to the client'sservice bulletins and instructions
  • Administration of Service Activities, Invoicing and Servicing/Training/Sales opportunities in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system and engage fully in regular internal Meetings
  • Actively work to increase the service, training and repair business potential at the Customers site.

Required Qualifications

  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Hold a full UK driving license
  • Personal situation that allows extensive travel within the UK
  • Customer focussed and able to deliver on promises
  • Competent experience within mechanical and electronical engineering
  • Good technical knowledge of the collision repair industry and car manufacturing requirements
  • Sound understanding of health and safely requirements around the workplace
  • Comfortable with PCs in general and Microsoft office
