Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the financial reporting and internal control environment for a major group, ensuring its integrity, accuracy, and timely delivery. The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary of £60,000 - £65,000 and the flexibility of hybrid working from their Rugeley location.

What you'll do:

As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organisation. Your responsibilities will include overseeing balance sheet reconciliations, preparing statutory accounts for all legal entities within the group, and collaborating with the FP&A Team to produce accurate budgets. You will also be responsible for managing any FRS developments and ensuring that ONS submissions are completed accurately and on time. This role requires a high level of commitment, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.

  • Deliver and maintain the integrity, accuracy and timely delivery of the financial reporting
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare statutory accounts for all legal entities within the group
  • Work with auditors and tax consultants to ensure accurate reporting
  • Manage any FRS developments
  • Review quarterly VAT Returns to GL
  • Collaborate with FP&A Team to produce accurate budgets
  • Ensure ONS submissions are completed accurately and on time

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Financial Reporting Manager position is a Big 4 trained qualified ACA or ACCA accountant with superior analytical and Excel skills. You should have extensive knowledge of UK GAAP, US GAAP, and SOX. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with non-finance colleagues will be essential in this role. Strong interpersonal skills are also required.
