Transport PlannerStaffs site baseHours of work: 06:00- 18:00 4 on 4 offUp to £40,000 plus access to Sage benefitsDue to further expansion in 2025 this multi-site operation are looking for 2 more Transport Planners to join their team.Job role / dutiesUtilising a set number of vehicles to achieve maximum efficiency and reduce empty running miles.Ensure all vehicles are available for the Workshop to carry out inspections, MOT, Tacho calibration, LOLER & reported defectsPlan and manage dedicated accounts including Pro-group / Night lanes and European involvement.Assist the Customer Service team by gaining information from driversComplete all relevant worksheets in a timely manner.Communicate internally and externally Achieve targets as set monitored by Key Performance IndicatorsUse Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, power point on a daily basis Operate Road runner TMS and tracking software to track the vehicles and ensure they meet the delivery times. Liaise with operations team to gather information if the vehicle is experiencing any delays.Inform customers via email or telephone of any delays To be considered for this role you MUST•Good organisational skills.•Reliability and dependability.•IT Literate being able to operate Excel and Word.
