Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the successful candidate will assist in managing the financial aspects of our projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
  • Support the analysis of costings for tenders and procurement processes.
  • Monitor project costs and progress, ensuring alignment with budgets.
  • Prepare and evaluate subcontractor and material enquiries.
  • Assist in the preparation of client valuations and final accounts.
  • Identify and analyse commercial risks, providing recommendations.
  • Maintain awareness of building contracts and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts and relevant legislation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant industry software.
