Search are currently recruiting for a number of HGV Class 1 drivers to work on behalf of our prestigious client based in Runcorn. This is night trunking with start times between (Apply online only). This is ongoing work for the right candidate, who must pass an assessment prior to starting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate Class 1 vehicles.
* Conduct depot deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service.
* Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members.
* Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.
Pay rates PAYE
* 16.00/h nights
Pay rates PAYE (inc. holiday pay):
* 17.93/h nights
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license, CPC, Tacho card.
* Minimum of 12 months experience in general haulage
* A clean driving record with no major endorsements.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
