Key responsibilities & accountabilities:
- Ensure safety, health and environment are maintained as the highest priority for all project commissioning activities.
- Ensure project designs incorporate all equipment and systems necessary for safe and efficient commissioning.
- Develop and implement commissioning and operating philosophies.
- Lead the development of suitable commissioning teams and manage these teams through to project beneficial operation.
- Prepare and manage commissioning programmes and budgets.
- Develop plant operating instructions, train plant operators and collatecommissioning to operations handover documentation packs.
- Able to manage the interface between various project stakeholders potentially with differing objectives for the project.
- Experience of plant operations and commissioning activities on a COMAH chemical plant.
- Must be a team player and have strong leadership skills.
- Must have competencies in conceptual thinking and strategic influencing and effectively communicate across all levels.
- Degree or equivalent in Instrument / Electrical discipline, plus 10 years experience in a process plant environment is required.
