Accountable Recruitment are working in partnership with an established, high-growth business business in the Runcorn area.
Due to continued growth and re-structure, the business is now recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to manage the transactional finance function of this business.
Reporting to the FD, the ideal candidate will be a capeable and experienced Finance Manager, qualified or QBE with strong Management skills, VAT experience, treasury skills and month-end experience.
You must be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail. The ability to work to tight deadlines is also essential, together with a highly organised 'can-do' approach.
Job Duties:
- Lead, manage, guide and motivate the finance team
- Manage payments in and out of the business
- Produce month end and year end journals
- Analyse financial information to provide accurate meaningful management reporting
- Review accounting process and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
- Calculation, submission and payment of Group VAT
- ONS Reporting
- Production of cash flow forecasts
- Ensure all balance sheet accounts reconciled with supporting documentation where applicable
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements including P&L accounts, balance sheets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries

Ideal experience
- Experienced Finance Manager (CIMA/ACA/ACCA/QBE)
- Able to successfully communicate with people at all levels, both financial and non-financial
- Finance Management experience
- Good leadership skills
- Sage and MS Office
