We are currently supporting our client in Runcorn who is working on a global implementation of Workday (Core HCM module). To support with the project, they are looking for a proactive and engaging team player to join their UK team to support the implementation operationally. This role will initially focus on the system implementation and will liaise with the global project team and the HR Leadership team locally to track activity and deadlines, oversee training and testing requirements and support with data management. Once the system is live, the focus of the role will shift to ensuring successful launch and implementation, managing data input and integrity between several HR systems, and overseeing the management of general system issues.

Some key deliverables will include:

  • To ensure that there is effective oversight of the programme deliverables and to engage with team members so that they are aware of relevant communications sent from the programme team and to ensure that they meet all deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Act as local project manager, tracking deliverables and deadlines and ensuring delivery from members of HR team.
  • The role may also involve creation of documentation including process maps, how to guides and communications for HR teams, managers, and colleagues.
  • As they progress with the implementation, you to be directly involved in testing, reporting and the design and delivery of the training programme to their managers and colleagues.
  • Specifically, the role will focus on the data held in the system, security and handling queries from end users following the implementation of the system.
  • To support the implementation of Workday and going forward to coordinate the continuous improvement of Workday for their UK and Ireland business as part of the global programme.
  • The role will focus on project management, data management, data cleansing, data analysis and insights.
