The Role

As an HR Officer, you will be the first point of contact for line managers and employees across our manufacturing areas, providing expert advice on HR policies, employee relations, and industrial relations. You will also play a key role in recruitment, performance management, absence control, and HR process improvements.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR guidance and support to employees and line managers across various business entities.

  • Ensure compliance with employment law, GDPR, and company policies.

  • Manage and coordinate recruitment activities, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.

  • Support managers with employee relations matters, including absence management, counselling, and performance management.

  • Deliver HR inductions for new employees and training for line managers.

  • Maintain and improve key HR processes such as recruitment, sickness absence control, and policy compliance.

  • Collaborate with HR Managers and Occupational Health teams to facilitate efficient return-to-work processes.



What We're Looking For

  • HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting..

  • Experience using HR databases and IT systems, with a good understanding of HR processes and workflows.
