Join a well-established and growing organisation as a Payroll and Accounts Administrator within the Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in both payroll and accounts payable while working in a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

As a Payroll and Accounts Administrator, you will support payroll processing and accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Administration:

  • Checking weekly time and attendance records and liaising with supervisors and managers to resolve queries.
  • Assisting with monthly payroll processing and maintaining payroll information.
  • Supporting payroll-related tasks and ad hoc duties.

Accounts Payable:

  • Assisting with full-cycle accounts payable processes, including processing stock and non-stock purchase invoices.
  • Supporting weekly payment runs and supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Handling supplier payment allocations and maintaining supplier master files.
  • Performing customs import documentation reconciliations.

Additional Duties:

  • Supporting ad hoc finance projects as required.

About You:

  • Payroll experience is essential.
  • Experience in accounts payable, ideally covering the full process cycle.
  • Strong IT and numerical skills, with Excel proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Experience with Sage Payroll and Navision is desirable (but training will be provided).

Salary & Benefits:

£26,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience

37.5-hour workweek (fixed hours):

Monday to Thursday: 8:45 am - 5:00 pm, Friday: 8:45 am - 3:45 pm

23 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with service)

Company pension (5% employer, 4% minimum employee)
