Project Manager | Runcorn | Full Time | £29,000-£34,000

Our client provides a dedicated, superior-quality global POS Installation (Point of Sale) and Retail maintenance service.

They have built a reputation for efficiency and dependability across their range of in-store services and due to client demand, expanded their work into the full mix of retail solutions and field marketing services across the globe.

As a Project Manager, you will take full ownership of allocated projects with the support and leadership of your Account Delivery Manager.

You will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of all aspects of the Project or Campaign cycle in line with the SLA and margin requirements.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Minimum 2 years Project Manager (or similar role) experience
  • Project Management Qualification(s) including PRINCE 2 accreditation or similar would be beneficial/desirable
  • Proven ability to deliver against financial budgets and SLA targets
  • Ability to solve problems and work on multiple tasks. Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, PPT and Excel
  • Ability to work on your own initiative, follow instructions and be part of a team

What will your role look like?

  • Budget Management – Tracking & management of the project budget v actuals, ensuring successful delivery of the project in line with expected revenue target
  • Ensuring experienced and trained resources are in place, continued management of your allocated resources throughout the project life cycle to meet agreed SLA's and Right First Time approach
  • Provision of appropriate equipment, tools and stock to enable engineers to achieve 100% completion of jobs
  • Creation of Project Briefs, Risk Assessment & Method Statements in line with H&S and Due Diligence requirements.
  • Raise and issue IPOs for each engineer, ensuring this is communicated on time and followed up with accounts until the process is completed.
  • Client Management – Anticipating client's needs via proactive planning and issue resolution. Confronting issues openly and quickly
  • Actively participate in the daily meetings and daily completion reports, providing relevant updates and immediate escalation of any issues
  • Identify and share ideas around areas of continuous improvement, looking at ways to streamline processes and support commercial and none commercial projects.
  • Provide appropriate response and resolution to problems raised within the timeframes of the SLA by both engineer and trader.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the systems, utilising them to maximum capacity and identifying areas of improvement and jobs approaching expired SLAs.
  • Attend weekly client meetings, and support the Account Delivery Manager in completing client communication logs.
  • Chair a Project Implementation Revenue within an agreed timeline after project completion
