My client, a market-leading designer and manufacturer of a popular technical solution, are looking to hire an experienced Procurement Coordinator to join their busy operation in Runcorn. They are recruiting on a full-time, permanent basis.

Role Purpose:

To efficiently manage procurement activities, stock levels, and supplier relationships, ensuring smooth operations across the organisation. The role requires meticulous planning, coordination of deliveries, oversight of kiosk projects, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.

Benefits:

  • Salary of £32,000 - £35,000 DOE
  • Hours – 8:30am to 5pm - 37.5 hours per week.
  • Job Type - Full-time, Permanent
  • Holidays – 25 days plus Bank Holidays

Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Review incoming deliveries, update Sage, and share relevant information across the business.
  • Forecast and place orders to maintain optimal stock levels while creating new item codes as needed.
  • Negotiate pricing with suppliers and troubleshoot supply chain issues.
  • Manage direct deliveries to customers, issue invoices, and update price lists for the UK team.
  • Facilitate branding of products with fabricators when necessary.
  • Review stock age and turnover, optimize stock locations, and manage spare parts inventory.
  • Plan and place kiosk orders, manage their stock and oversee kiosk projects.
  • Coordinate quotes and shipments for customer deliveries and intercompany requests.
  • Oversee health and safety reviews, maintain up-to-date certificates, and ensure employees complete required training.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in procurement, stock management, or a related role.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., Sage) and spreadsheet tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with health & safety regulations is an advantage.
