Part-time Accounts Assistant
Search are working with a small, family-run business in Runcorn. Our client is looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their close-knit team in a standalone position over 3 days. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking a flexible, part-time role within a supportive and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Processing purchase and sales invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.
* Reconciling bank accounts and supplier statements.
* Managing petty cash and handling employee expenses.
* Assisting with VAT returns and payroll preparation.
* Monitoring customer payments and chasing overdue invoices as needed.
* Providing general administrative support to the finance team.
Skills required:
* Previous experience in an accounts or finance role (e.g., Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator).
* Looking for a Part-time position
* Good working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero).
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* A friendly and approachable personality, with a team-oriented attitude.
* Experience within a small business environment would be an advantage.
