An opportunity has arisen for a diligent Fixed Asset Accountant to join a well-established and successful business in Wellingborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the fixed asset register and related accounting.

Description

  • Manage and maintain the company's fixed asset register
  • Conduct regular asset audits, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare and post monthly depreciation and asset disposal journals
  • Liaise with other departments to gather information on assets
  • Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts and audit
  • Provide support on projects as required by the finance team
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards
  • Deliver regular reports to senior management

Profile

A successful Fixed Asset Accountant should have:

  • ACCA/CIMA Part-Qualified
  • Proficient understanding of accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with fixed asset software and systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
