This is a great opportunity for a Group Accountant, to join my clients well established Finance function at their Head Office in Wellingborough. The Group Accountant will provide a combination of accounting and tax support to the Group Accounting and Tax Manager who leads the Group Finance Team.

Description
Key tasks and responsibilities include:- Preparing monthly management accounts, annual budgets and forecasts
- Providing support for day-to-day banking matters across the Group
- Assist with SAO compliance across all Group companies
- Collate business information for tax computations including the R&D claim
- Prepare quarterly cash tax forecasting for payment on account purposes
- Preparation of the PAYE settlement agreement, P11Ds and P46s
- Management of employee expense claim and company credit card processes
- Assisting with the annual statutory audit and accounts process for Group and family companies
- Assisting with the Groups short/medium term cash flow forecasts
Profile
- Fully qualified: ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Strong IT skills, excel in particular (intermediate standard or above).
- Excellent communication and administrative skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and organise workloads effectively, in order to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently but also to be a flexible team player
