This is a great opportunity for a Group Accountant, to join my clients well established Finance function at their Head Office in Wellingborough. The Group Accountant will provide a combination of accounting and tax support to the Group Accounting and Tax Manager who leads the Group Finance Team.

Description

Key tasks and responsibilities include:
  • Preparing monthly management accounts, annual budgets and forecasts
  • Providing support for day-to-day banking matters across the Group
  • Assist with SAO compliance across all Group companies
  • Collate business information for tax computations including the R&D claim
  • Prepare quarterly cash tax forecasting for payment on account purposes
  • Preparation of the PAYE settlement agreement, P11Ds and P46s
  • Management of employee expense claim and company credit card processes
  • Assisting with the annual statutory audit and accounts process for Group and family companies
  • Assisting with the Groups short/medium term cash flow forecasts

Profile

  • Fully qualified: ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Strong technical accounting skills
  • Strong IT skills, excel in particular (intermediate standard or above).
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workloads effectively, in order to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently but also to be a flexible team player
