My client is a Top 40 firm of Chartered Accountants. As a leading firm of Chartered Accountants, they look after the accountancy, tax planning and business advisory needs of their clients (individuals, businesses and third sector organisations both in the UK and overseas).

They are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Manager to play an integral role in helping to shape their growing Private Client Tax practice. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to take ownership of strategic client relationships, lead complex advisory projects, and drive the growth of the firm’s private client offering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Support the leadership of the private client tax function, contributing to the overall direction and growth strategy of the department.• Advisory Excellence: Provide strategic, high-level tax advice to high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), entrepreneurs, family offices, and trustees on complex issues, including:• Residence and domicile matters.• Inheritance tax (IHT) planning and wealth preservation strategies.• Trust creation, structuring, and management.• Succession planning for business and personal assets.• Tax-efficient investments and international tax planning.• Business and Market Development: Collaborate with partners to drive business growth.• Client Relationship Management• Mentor, coach, and develop team members at all levels, ensuring technical excellence and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

What They Are Looking For:

• Significant experience in private client tax advisory, particularly with HNWIs, UHNWIs, trusts, and estate planning.• A track record of managing and developing high-performing teams, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and lead by example.• Technical Excellence: Deep technical knowledge of UK personal taxation, international tax matters, trusts, and succession planning, with the ability to deliver complex advice clearly and confidently.• Professional Qualifications: CTA/STEP-qualified or equivalent.
