- Achieve sales targets by prospecting and qualifying leads through outbound cold calling, email campaigns, and other lead generation techniques.
- Manage both inbound and outbound sales engagements using various communication tools such as phone, email, Live Chat, and CRM systems.
- Proactively contact allocated accounts to increase revenue, aligning with customer development plans.
- Deliver outbound sales activities for new and lapsed customer initiatives, working closely with Business Development Managers.
- Offer advice and guidance on our training portfolio and related industry certification schemes, tailoring processes to meet individual client needs.
- Manage the sales pipeline in CRM software, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns, nurturing relationships to secure repeat and expansion business.
- Build close relationships with key decision-makers to enhance customer loyalty and increase market share.
- Identify customer training requirements, generate quotes, and process bookings as necessary.
- Promote new products and services to your account base and participate in company initiatives and customer development activities.
- Experience in telesales within a business-to-business environment.
- Familiarity with the construction and/or training/education sector is beneficial but not essential.
- IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office programs and CRM databases; training will be provided.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, capable of developing effective relationships at all levels.
- Strong communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
- Effective time management, organisation, and planning skills.
- High level of literacy, numeracy, and attention to detail.
