I am actively looking for a confident and experienced Civil Engineer to join a leading and thriving Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Wellingborough. My client is renowned for delivering innovative, sustainable solutions across a wide range of infrastructure and development projects. With a focus on quality and client satisfaction, my client fosters a collaborative and inclusive work culture that supports career growth and professional development.

Required Skills & Qualifications for this Civil Engineer position:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
  • Strong proficiency in Civils3D and Revit (essential).
  • Demonstrable experience in designing infrastructure, drainage systems, and land development projects.
  • Strong understanding of UK civil engineering design standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving ability with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Full UK driving license (some travel to site may be required).

Key Responsibilities for this Civil Engineering role:

  • Manage and design civil engineering projects from conception through to completion, including site development, infrastructure, and drainage systems.
  • Utilise Civils3D and Revit to produce accurate, detailed 3D models, drawings, and designs.
  • Work closely with project managers, senior engineers, and clients to ensure project goals, budgets, and timelines are met.
  • Conduct site assessments and surveys to inform design work, ensuring practical solutions that align with the project scope.
  • Prepare technical reports, drawings, and calculations to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure project compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's technical expertise.
