WSR are recruiting for a Plant Fitter for our client based in Wellingborough

Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm Join our client’s dynamic team at a leading plant hire organisation specialising in mini piling rigs. We are currently seeking an experienced Plant Fitter for workshop-based operations, with occasional field work and breakdown coverage. A dedicated vehicle and mobile telephone will be provided for on-site requirements.

Plant Fitter Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake workshop-based maintenance and repairs, ensuring equipment functionality.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns or field service requirements.
  • Possess a versatile skill set, accommodating various types of heavy electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Participate in in-house training programs for specialised equipment.

Plant Fitter Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a related industry is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in maintaining heavy electro-mechanical equipment.
  • In-depth knowledge of hydraulics and 12/24v electrics is preferred.
  • Welding skills to a high standard and forklift operation capability are desirable.
