This very Bespoke role for a Bereavement Business Assistant is working in a highly regulated customer care role.

Reporting into the Operations Manager

Daily tasks could include -

  • Handling everything from booking in a funeral to collection of ashes.
  • You will give nothing less than excellence in customer care and empathy though out, and to all involved in the process
  • Handling all of the regulated administration
  • Accurately handling and inputting all sensitive and compliant data
  • Handling all financial aspects such s daily weekly and monthly incomes, including weekly banking
  • Raising purchase orders and delivery invoices
  • Organise ceremony bookings
  • Respond to external funeral directors, and bereaved peoples questions regarding the process
  • Accurate record keeping
  • Processing of administration associated with collection of ashes
  • Working as part of a team

Essential Skills -

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a caring profession
  • Understanding Data Protection
  • Excellent record keeping skills
  • Demonstrable ability to deal with customers sympathetically

It would be an advantage to have -

  • Experience of working with basic finance
