Job Title: Mechatronics EngineerSalary: £28,000 - £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience)Location: NorthamptonshireType: PermanentSectors: Electrical, Electro-mechanical, Electronics ManufacturingMy client work within the design and manufacture of electronics products, across a wide range of sectors, and they are looking to take on a Mechatronics Engineer on a permanent basis in the Northamptonshire area.   The Mechatronics Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:• Degree qualification in Mechatronics, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering or similar, or be qualified by experience • Gook knowledge of both electronics’ hardware and mechanical design • Ideally proficient with Altium and SolidWorks CAD software – but training could be provided if you have had experience with another software  • Industry experience working in a similar electro-mechanical role with skills to transfer • Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team • Have excellent communication and time management skills • Any project engineering skills would also be desirable  • Ideally a full UK Driving Licence    The Mechatronics Engineer role will involve:• Working as part of the companies multi-disciplinary engineering team • Design and development of the companies electro-mechanical components and systems using both SolidWorks and Altium  • Testing prototypes to ensure reliability and to validate design concepts• Working on system integration • Making sure that designs comply with quality and industry standards • Being involved with managing projects from concept through to completion  • Ensuring all the relevant documentation is created • Analysing electro-mechanical systems  • The opportunity for personal development   If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectations.
