Restaurant Supervisor - prestigious gastro pub style hotel

Restaurant Supervisor, required to join the food and beverage service team at a property in Rye, East Sussex, which offers a high end gastro pub style of operation.

As RestaurantSupervisor, you will support the Restaurant Manager with the day to day running of the restaurant areas, across the hotel, providing guests with a great experience.

As Restaurant Supervisor, a sample of duties will include:

• Work a middle or late shift, part time or full-time on a rota. Week-ends and evenings are the busier periods at this hotel
• Cover the Breakfast shift on a rota when required
• Preparation of the restaurant areas for service, following company standards and procedures
• Knowledgeable about food & drink content to be able to advise guests when they are placing orders
• Provide a friendly, courteous and discreet service
• Supervision of food, wine & beverages within the food service areas
• Assist to ensure staffing levels meet requirements
• Deal with any issues and complaints which may arise
• Support with stock taking and ordering
• Deputise for the Restaurant Manager in their absence
• Supervisory experience ideally or you may be looking for your next career step from an experienced role of food & beverage assistant role
• Passionate about good quality food and providing an outstanding guest experience

The salary for the role of Restaurant Supervisor is given as up to £12.25 / hour, including share of the tronc. You will need to live local or ideally have access to transport due to the shift finish time on a late shift.
